NEVER PAY DUES AGAIN!
-
Really? You must be kidding right?
NOPE! As Director General Bill Airey said at the Convention in Nashville this July -
Let the trumpets sound, let the bugles blare
and let the drums roll out.Get the attention of EVERY Moose member.
Tell them they never have to pay dues again!
As in previous years, a sponsor will receive a campaign lapel pin once his first application has been reported and accepted. We believe the pins that have been designed for The Time is Now campaign are among the most attractive ever presented. The pin for the men will also hold special meaning, as the clock tower atop the Campanile at Mooseheart has been worked into the design. The hands of the clock are set to 9 O'clock as constant reminder of our 9 O'Clock Ceremony and our obligation to provide for those entrusted to our care. A supply of these bright silver finish lapel pins is being shipped to each Lodge and should be appropriately presented to each sponsor.
When a member sponsors his first two applications during The Time is Now
campaign, he will receive a free year's dues once those applicants have
been added to the membership rolls. The applicants must be reported as
enrolled by April 30, 2011.
This will generate the same
question as was asked during the short term campaign that ended in May
- What about the
life members? For The Time is Now
campaign, we have selected a handsome simulated leather picture frame
that will contain a very special photo when it arrives in our
qualifying life members' mailboxes. The picture frame also features a
functioning alarm clock, calendar, temperature display, countdown timer
and birthday reminder.
When members qualify for this year's Moose
International 5
Club by sponsoring
five applications between May 1, 2010 and April 30,2011, they will
receive their personalized 5
Club wallet card as before. In addition, qualifying
sponsors will receive a 2010‐2011 5 Club window decal
to proudly display.
As was begun last year, funds
that had been spent on 5
Club sponsor recognition awards will once again be used to
address capital needs at Mooseheart. The members of the
2010-2011 5 Club
will provide for the purchase of two 14 -passenger vans
for the Mooseheart campus. The vans will be decaled with the
same
5 Club logo
as the window decals. We extend our sincerest appreciation to our State
and Provincial Moose Associations, who will provide the funding to
complete this project in honor of their 5 Club
qualifiers.
There are no changes to report regarding the Moose 25 Club for the
coming year, but there is one change to the Director General's Circle of
Distinction recognition program. As of May 1, 2010, first
time qualifiers will receive the newly designed Circle of Distinction
necktie. The awards for the 50 level, 75 level and 100 level will
remain the same. Members who previously qualified for the Circle of
Distinction necktie will receive one of the new ties in addition to the
award normally presented for the level they attain.
Mooseheart
Centenial Award
In conjunction with the introduction of The Time is Now
campaign, we are unveiling the first item available to members of this
fraternity that features the official Mooseheart Centennial
logo. Members who sponsor 25 applications between June 1,
2010 and July 31, 2013 will be presented with a custom made Skagen
wristwatch for their outstanding effort. The men's and ladies' watches
have different band styles, but both feature a black face with the
Mooseheart Centennial logo emblazoned in bright silver. These beautiful
commemorative items will only be available to sponsors who qualify
during the three year period. The watch incentive will conclude during
the actual week of the Mooseheart Centennial celebration.
